A couple of years ago I resolved to not make any resolutions. Setting up expectations that aren’t met can lead to disappointment, and too much disappointment can lead to depression and I sure didn’t want any of that.  But if you don't have resolutions, or goals, you don't make progress.  So, I will work on goal setting and prioritizing.  My 2002 column bears remembering and you can still read it - and decide what you're going to be - A Sheep or  Goat in 2005. In retrospect I feel I was more of a sheep than a goat in 2004 and if I just continue that behavior I should do all right. There, I feel better already.

I made slight progress in my weight loss goals last year, but took a downturn in habits in the Fall and made my weight take an upturn to gain back 7 of the 12 pounds I lost.  But at least I ended the year 5  pounds lighter than I started, so I will get re-committed and work on changing those habits.

Much of my time in 2004 was spent on helping to develop our SAM's Lambs Single Adult Ministry and my business goals were neglected so one new goal/resolution  for 2005 will be to be more balanced in what I do, and not forget about my own personal business goals.

So what happened last year and what’s planned for this year?

On Goals - Past and Future:  In 2004 the goal was to increase traffic to 100,000 per month and that was exceeded and actually reached 200,000 in one month.  Now the new goal will be to turn the visitors into participating VIP members.
