The Singles Courier and The Singles Center

It’s also a plea from me to you for feedback on what you want to see on The Singles Center site and in the Singles Courier newsletter - so that we really can serve you better.

If you’ve reviewed the propaganda on the site you’ll know that I originally created, and still maintain, this site to be a healthy resource for singles. At that time I had envisioned having a busy research staff to scour online and offline sources for useful information for singles. As reality set in with various assistants not quite able to fulfill that mission on a limited budget, our research was re-directed to a free lance staff of writers who fill our feature and department columns in our online magazine, Singles, The Magazine for Today’s Single.

While the articles contain relevant information about a variety of subjects, I would prefer to have specific information that our visitors and members are seeking and really need. So, I am asking for your input in providing information that will help us better serve your needs. At present we have a general survey form to try to create a profile of our single friends and members, but I would like to add more specific questions, including your suggestions.

Recently our mailing list, and Singles Courier newsletter was moved to Topica.com and a new format created. This was necessary as our subscriber list had grown to over 3000 and should reach 5000 before the end of the month. We'll be experimenting with the format over the next few weeks, until we get it just right.  Our survey form will also be moved to Topica as well, but I would like to add your suggestions to the form to make it more relevant and useful to our members.  I plan to share summaries of the information collected so that you can see the kind of people you can network with at The Singles Center.

Besides helping out by completing the survey and suggesting questions, you can help out by sending articles for our magazine, or participating in our Chat Room, or posting a free ad in our Personals, or submitting information on singles groups or ministries for listing in our Links Resource Directory or Single Groups listing.

How else could this site be useful to you? What are your ideas? I’d like to hear them. If you can’t find a way to answer on the survey form, you can use our contact form and write to us in your own words.
