Feature: The Theatrics of St. Patrick’s Legacy
Grab a mug of green beer, join a parade or two and celebrate the Irish tradition
of St. Patrick’s Day in typical American style. Well, that’s one way to do it,
but I have a better idea. Why not look back on this ancient tradition and
rejoice in typical Irish style, makes more sense to me, what do you think?
Astrology:
PISCES: The
Fish: February 19 – March 20 If you were born between February 19 and March 20 (approximately), your
sun sign is probably Pisces. What does this mean?. Pisces is a water sign. The water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) all
share the trait of sensitivity. Pisces is, in every sense of the word,
sensitive. Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune, which is the planet of
illusion, delusion, and the things in life that we accept without question.
Neptune also rules such things as music, movies, theater, television,
dreams, spirituality, ideals, mystique, hunches, love of poetry, color,
dancing, addiction, hypochondria, hypnosis, and abnormalities. The Man,
The Woman, The Lover

Yourself Fit
Spring is coming! Spring is coming!
Is it time to get outside and start working on that summer body?Singles are a diverse group for many reasons and vary in size as
well. While self-acceptance can bring peace of mind, fitting into the summer
bathing suit can similarly do wonders for self-esteem.

Spring Cleaning (Out
with the old..)
The words Spring Cleaning immediately
conjures up visions of crawling in closets and tunneling under beds to clean
out the dirt and cobwebs that didn’t quite seem to bother us the rest of the
year. While "cleanliness is next to godliness" another important often
overlooked aspect of Spring Cleaning is that of the mind and body. As the
weather makes its transition from cold, dark and damp to warm, light, and airy
we must also make the transition from winter to spring in our lives.
Travel: A Singular Eye-Opening Journey
. . . . Back to My Roots in Belfast, Ireland
I was enjoying my second stay in southeast Ireland, hiking through emerald
valleys amongst medieval ruins while trading joyous crac (Gaelic for
discourse, which pubs never lack) throughout the night over pints of Guinness
with locals in Kiltegan, County Wicklow.

Science &
Technology: How Private is Email
and Instant Messaging?
Singles use email and instant messaging services all the time -- to keep in
touch with friends and relatives, and maybe even to meet other singles. So how
private is your email? How secure is your instant message?
Religion: From The Rev: A View From Upstairs
T.S. Eliot once said, "Humankind cannot bear very much reality and part of this
reality is change." I thought of those words recently as I consider this
approaching Good Friday.
Change will happen, some of it good, and some change we will consider to be less
than joyful. How will we be able to deal with life’s ups and downs in a creative
rather than a crippling way?
Money Matters: Investment
Clubs Help Singles
Save for Rainy Days, or Even Sunny Ones If two heads are better
than one, just think what a dozen can do.
That's the principle behind investment clubs. The Beardstown Ladies'
best-selling book made investment clubs famous. This group of older ladies was
quite successful at it and you can be too. As a single person, you have to be
concerned about saving money for your future -- and if you have children,
their future as well.
Careers & Education Body Language that Works at Work
Body language could give singles a "leg up" on their careers. Each of us gives
thousands of nonverbal messages to the people around us every day. Most of the
time, we do it unconsciously but by being aware of what your body is saying
and what others are saying as well can help in the workplace.
Sports:
Doubles Sports for Single
Folks
The literal meaning of the word Utopia, as Thomas Hardy’s famed novel
describes it, is Nothing or Nowhere. The main character of the book,
who leads the people to Utopia, only speaks jibberish-and-jabberish.
Nevertheless, in the ongoing search for athletic Nirvana, here are a few
doubles (two-person) sports to consider when choosing a form of exercise. Most
experts agree that choosing an activity with the highest fun-factor is the
most likely route to that valuable inner quality known as stick-to-it-ness.
And in many ways, sticking with it IS the most important aspect of making
gains in any sport.
