HUMOR ME:

HIS Dating Game Plan:
Dating Pearls of Wisdom in Three Phases

by Bruce Bernhard

PHASE I

Getting yourself emotionally and physically healthy means taking care of yourself. Start today by saying, "I like myself, I like myself, I like myself" (make sure no one hears you). Remember, if you don’t like yourself, why should anyone else? Second, learn to eat healthy and start an exercise program. Soon, you will start feel and look better. Third, decide that you are going to have a positive outlook. Feeling sorry for yourself and informing everyone of your woes won’t help. As a matter of fact, unless you stumble into a caretaker personality, count on many people avoiding you (I, for one.).

As your body and mind start to improve, begin the next step (this can actually be done at the same time). For some of you this part doesn’t apply, but I’ve been to enough singles dances to know that some of you should heed this advice. Besides a neat appearance, daily showering is a must (unless you hope to stumble upon a caretaker type person who prefers smelly guys. Even if that’s what you’re looking for, why miss out on the other women?). A neat, attractive appearance shouldn’t be hard to accomplish especially now that the casual look is popular. The way I feel is, if God didn’t want us to dress casual there wouldn’t be so many K-Marts, Walmarts, or J.C. Pennys. If you need some new threads and are on a budget these places are great.
