Welcome to our Community Involvement Wing Do you get tired of the old stereotypes of single people as "swingers", having soap opera affairs and yet another relationship breakup? Well, we do too. That was one of the reasons for creating The Singles Center site in the first place. We singles know that we are as involved with our family, church, and communities as the
other 50% of the population. Yet, that part of the singles image receives little

Single Adult Ministries -
Our Publisher is
founder of SAM's Lambs,
a Single Adult Ministry as the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd in
Webster. The inspiration came from Singles Role Model program - Our Singles Role Model program continues on hold but you can view our past activities As our Community Involvement activity, The Singles Center had founded a Role Model search. starting in 1998. A single Role Model may be an individual who volunteers at a local non-profit singles organization, a community organization or may volunteer in an individual way by baking for a local Meals on Wheels, while working two jobs to support her son by herself. The winner is announced on our site and in our Singles Courier newsletter, and their favorite charity receives a donation from The Singles Center. Our Role Model Program was personally funded by our Publisher, who is now retired, so we have placed it on hold, until we find another Community spirited backer. A Press Release will be sent out when that happens, as well as a special announcement to our Subscriber list.
